What a Wedding

One parent of the happy couple said, “I don’t know how to be a mother in law!”

2 tips toward happily married children:

From my own mom:

The home the children grew up in is their own home. They are welcome to drop in whenever they want. The children’s home is their own, and their parent should not drop in without sufficient warning.

From my grandma:

Of course I know better than the children (meaning the 20-45-year-olds). But for the sake of peace, I keep my mouth shut. They will make their own mistakes, and learn. If they want to learn the easy way, they know I am happy to advise them – if they ask.

My grandmother is a genius:

Give advice ONLY if they ask.
